  • Dinner: uesday to Saturday 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. by reservation!

Bregenzerwälder Kässpätzle

Thursday evenings are dedicated to a special delicacy from the Bregenzerwald: Bregenzerwälder Kässpätzle. This traditional dish consists of soft egg noodles (Spätzle) mixed with a generous amount of cheese. Served with melted butter and fried onions, just like in the old days, straight from the wooden spoon.

A Culinary Week in Fuchsegg Style:

Tuesday to Saturday

Our Gasthaus is open all day for drinks and coffee. Lunch is served à la carte from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., followed by a small menu until 4:00 p.m. Look forward to our exquisite evening dining experience. Our local suppliers ensure a good feeling on your plate, while our kitchen craft focuses on regional and seasonal variety. Inspiration comes from both local and distant sources.

THURSDAY = Vorarlberg Day

Thursday evenings are dedicated to a special dish from the Bregenzerwald: Bregenzerwälder Kässpätzle. This traditional dish consists of soft egg noodles (Spätzle) mixed with a generous amount of cheese. It is served with melted butter and crispy onions from a larch wood oven, just like in the old days. Enjoy a three-course menu featuring Bregenzerwälder Kässpätzle made with organic spelt flour and semolina from Martinshof as the main course.

Sunday - our culinary rest day

On Sundays, we allow our kitchen team to spend quality time with their families. We offer an overnight stay with breakfast included. Our direct neighbor, Schettereggerhof, looks forward to welcoming you. We are also happy to share our culinary tips around the Bregenzerwald. The Gasthaus is open all day until 6:00 p.m., offering drinks and a space to relax.

Fireplace Bar

Open daily, the fireplace bar is the heart of our establishment, offering fine drinks, wines, and coffee. The blueberry-colored tiled stove, the warm lighting accents, and the craftsmanship of the furnishings create an inviting atmosphere for socializing. Enjoy a cup of tea or a strong espresso, preferably with a delicious slice of cake. In this regard, the people of Bregenzerwald, Fuchsegg, and the Japanese share a common philosophy: the Fuchsegg kitchen strives for artisanal perfection and shines the spotlight on the product, not on itself. Like the Japanese, we believe that the highest art of preparation lies in the simplest processing. There’s no need for “exotic embellishments” to appreciate the flavor of potatoes or high-quality beef cutlets—especially not just because they are “trendy.” What is truly essential are pure, seasonal ingredients that are handled with heartfelt expertise.
