Look forward to a delicious breakfast made with high-quality products from local farmers and suppliers, served daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the Gasthaus.

Fireplace bar

Open daily from Monday to Sunday, the heart of our establishment, the fireplace bar, offers fine drinks, cocktails, wines, and coffee. The blueberry-blue tiled stove and the craftsmanship of the Bregenzerwald create a desire for quality time together. Enjoy a fine organic tea or a strong espresso, best paired with a delicious piece of cake. Delightful drinks, special wines, and refreshments for young and old from sunrise to sunset. Our fireplace bar – so beautiful and unique, it embodies quality time at Fuchsegg.

Culinary week in Fuchsegg style: Monday to Saturday

Anticipate our thoughtfully crafted evening cuisine, supported by our local suppliers to guarantee a delightful dining experience. The culinary art at Fuchsegg is inspired by the region and seasonal diversity, with influences from both local and international sources. We also offer our ski cuisine at lunchtime from 12:00 to 2:30 p.m.

Thursday evening = Vorarlberg day

Thursday evenings are dedicated to a special delicacy from the Bregenzerwald: Bregenzerwälder Kässpätzle. This traditional dish consists of soft egg noodles (Spätzle) mixed with a generous amount of cheese. Served with melted butter and fried onions, just like in the old days, straight from the wooden spoon.

The Sunday is our culinary day of rest

On Sundays, we allow our kitchen team to spend quality time with their families. We offer an overnight stay with breakfast included. Our direct neighbor, Schettereggerhof, looks forward to welcoming you. We are also happy to share our culinary tips around the Bregenzerwald. The Gasthaus is open all day until 6:00 p.m., offering drinks and a space to relax.

Schetteregg is a district of the municipality of Egg, located in the heart of the Bregenzerwald. It is secluded, situated approximately 8.5 kilometers from the town center at an altitude of about 1,000 meters, yet it is easily accessible via wide roads. Nestled in a health-conscious climate, Fuchsegg is surrounded by gentle landscapes of alpine meadows, hills, and mountains, as well as forests and rare moorlands. From Egg, the regional bus number 32 will take you to Schetteregg. You can reach us by car as follows:

To minimize your environmental impact, would you prefer to travel to Schetteregg by public transport?

Arriving by public transport is, of course, possible. You can take the train to Vorarlberg, with the final stations being Dornbirn or Bregenz. From there, you can take a bus to Bregenzerwald. For more information, visit: www.vmobil.at. The final stops are the Schetteregg or Egg ski lifts.

• Cancellations made up to 31 days before arrival are free of charge.
• For cancellations made between 30 and 15 days before arrival, 40% of the total price will be charged.
• For cancellations made between 14 and 8 days before arrival, 70% of the total price will be charged.
• For cancellations made between 7 days and 1 day before arrival, 90% of the total price will be charged.
• If the cancellation occurs on the day of arrival or in case of early departure, the full amount will be charged.

Cancellation policy for Meetings / Groups:

• Cancellations made up to 3 months before arrival are free of charge.
• For cancellations made 3 months to 8 weeks before arrival, 30% of the booking value will be charged.
• For cancellations made 8 weeks to 30 days before arrival, 75% of the booking value will be charged.
• From 29 days before arrival, 100% of the booking value will be charged.
